What Factors Determine the Costs of Dental Implant Treatment?

There are many factors that influence the cost
of dental implants. Some of the most significant are:

Implants Brand Icon

Implants Brand

At Pearl Dental, we have chosen to work exclusively with the largest dental implant manufacturers who have the longest multi-decade track records. We will emphatically not use products from companies that have only short track records or that manufacture replica implants.

Choosing a more expensive implant manufacturer is well worth the cost in terms of research and data to validate the therapy.

Materials Used lcon

Materials Used

There is some flexibility in the materials that can be used to fabricate the teeth that attach to your implants.

Generally, it is less expensive to fabricate a hybrid titanium and acrylic bridge with the limitation that over time (a decade or more) the teeth may start to exhibit signs of wear. Alternatively, zirconia is a harder more durable option that does increase the initial cost of treatment but has the advantage of being almost unbreakable.

At your consultation appointment, we will recommend the material that is most appropriate to your needs and budget.

Choice Of Dental Laboratory Icon

Choice of Dental Laboratory

A critical component of dental implant treatment is the final prosthetic (or teeth)that are attached to the implants. It is critical that the lab fabricating the teeth has adequate experience with the materials chosen; and that they are familiar with the important technical aspects of smile and bite design. Pearl Dental will only work with laboratories that have demonstrated a long track record with these procedures and have the technological prowess to deliver cutting edge digital dental designs.

Does Insurance Cover Dental Implant Costs?

Some dental insurance policies will cover your dental implant treatment, but generally only a very small portion. However, even if your plan doesn’t cover dental implant treatment you will likely still be eligible for reimbursement for some aspects of your ‘New Teeth in a Day’ procedure. Some patients can receive a reimbursement of $1000—and up to $3000—from their dental insurance.

Our treatment coordinators are experts at helping you navigate your insurance and can help you submit your claims. Call us today to find out if you are eligible for dental insurance reimbursement.
